Morning city tour of New Delhi drive through the Raisina Hill- India
Gate, Parliament House & President House, Qutab Minar & Himayun
Tomb. Afternoon tour Highlight is Shah Jahan's Red Fort, the bustling market
place of Chandni Chowk, Raj Ghat, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi.
Evening return to the Red Fort to watch the "Son et Lumire" show
which is an interplay of colorful lights and sound tracing the history of
monument till date. at Red Fort. Overnight stay.
Depart for Gwalior by train. Afternoon half-day city tour. Visit to
the Gwalior Fort, Scindia palace & the Tomb of Ghaus Mohammed &
Tansen. Overnight at hotel.
Depart for Bhopal by train. Evening half-day excursion to Bhimbetka.
Full day excursion to Sanchi - it is city of the Great Stupa, a

Dome
shaped monument covering Relics of Gautama Buddha, and the remains of a
Buddhist Monastery. Sanchi is a place of Buddhist Pilgrim. Udaigiri Caves -
Famous for its Rock-cut cave Sanctuaries, which are carved into a Sandstone
hill. Overnight Stay.

Leave for Indore by surface. Enroute visit Ujjin, famous for Hindu
Astronomy, Astrology and Geography. Also visit temples and bathing ghats.

Leave for Dhar by surface. Enroute visit Omkareshwar and Maheshwar.
Omkareshwar, an island on the Narmada River, is the site for two shiva
temples, Maheshwar, located on the banks of the same river, has chattri of
Ahilya Bai.
Full day excursion to Mandu, famed for the stories of Baz Bahadur
and his consort, Rani Rupmati. See the haunting palaces, baths, pavilions,
each an architectural gem in the Afghan style, as well as the mosques and
tombs.

Depart for Aurangabad by surface (8-9 hrs).
Full day excursion to the Ajanta Caves dating back to the 2nd
century B.C. The 30 rock- hewn caves are adorned with Buddhist sculptures
and frescoes.
Morning, half day excursion to the Ellora Caves which encompass 34
rock-out shrines representing Buddhist, Hindu and Jain art dated 4th to 9th
century A. D.
Depart for Mumbai by early morning flight. Morning, half-day
excursion across The Harbour to world-famous 1,200-year-old Elephant Caves.
Evening, half-day city tour including a visit to Jain temple, Prince of
Wales Museum etc.
Depart for onward journey.
